Andaman Coast
The Andaman coastline, boasts fabulous scenery and dazzling
beaches. The largest and best known of the island destinations
is Phuket, impressive with its fine
resorts, cuisine and beaches. Scramble up cliffs and
down into caves, swim in deep pools under refreshing
waterfalls, sunbathe in the sand or do jungle trekking
through the rain forest on the back of an elephant.
Phi Phi Islands, Lanta Island, Krabi and Pra Nnang
province are the region's biggest attractions. Similan
Islands are extremely popular with divers is
the Similan Islands, which harbour some of the world's
top diving destinations. |

Gulf of Thailand
The Samui Archipelago consists of 80 beautiful islands,
although the main source of tourist development is only
evident on 3 of them. Out of this group, Koh Tao
is the least developed followed by Phangan, and then
Samui. Koh Samui is Thailand's third biggest island,
and due to its international airport is easily accessible.
Sunbathe on white sandy beaches with coconut-grove vistas
