Urua – Seaview room

Overall the holiday was fantastic. The resort was excellent - very quiet, which is what we wanted. The chalets were extreemly well appointed to a very high standard and the entire place was very clean and well maintained. The pool was superb. We went on 3 excursions organised from the resort - Safari Blue, Dolphin watching and the Monkey Sanctuary, and The Spice Tour and Stone Town. All were superb, with a great driver and tour guide. Precison Airways - not the best, although probably not a lot of choice.. A terrible flight, and I would think hard and long about going on any holiday using Precison Airways!

Zanzibar is beslis ‘n fantastiese bestemming.  Julle reëlings met Galaxy Tours vir die transfers het baie goed gewerk. Hulle was op tyd, en die voertuie was netjies en skoon, en die rit veilig en gemaklik.  Langi Langi Beach Bungalows is ‘n heerlike “laid back” hotel. Dit was vir my beslis lekkerder as om in ‘n groot resort te wees, want dit was in die middel van al die aktiwiteite.  Die Africa House hotel het ook baie atmosfeer. ‘n Week is te kort om alles te doen wat Zanzibar aanbied, en ek sal nou graag wil eendag teruggaan, en dan ook sommer vir Pemba verken ook!  Baie dankie vir jou reëlings – ons vakansie was een van die beste!

Northern Circuit Safari

Hi, Ek het nog nie eens tyd gehad om te se hoe wonderlik die vakansie was nie. Die weer was fantasties - lae 20's. Die hotel by Arusha, Mountain Village - baie smart. Die kos orals was baie lekker. Die gids was oulik en gelukkig vir Henk loop daar omtrent net Toyota. Ngorogoro krater - fantasties - binne 4 ure die groot 5 gesien. Lake Manyara ook mooi, die Ndutu/Masek area was fantasties. Die tented lodge was pragtig en toe ons daar weggaan toe voel ons familie. Die Tente is baie luuks. Jy hoor die leeus brul as jy in die bad sit. Ons het duisende-duisende diere gesien. Was in die middel van die migrasie. Het een oggend 20 verskillende leeus en 4 cheethas gesien. Baie van die diere het klein babatjies gehad, wat wonderlik was.

Safari & Uroa Bay Beach Resort

Nogmaals dankie vir al die effektiewe reelings wat deur jul getref is. Dit was werklik die vakansie van ‘n leeftyd! Spesiale dank ook aan ons gids (Amos) tydens ons safari. Ons het beide al wyd gereis oor die wereld en hy was een van die beste wat ons nog teegekom het – professioneel en propvol kennis, dog nederig en nie die heeltyd in jou gesig nie. Oroa Bay was ook wonderlik en hul personnel was absoluut fantasties en het uit hul pad gegaan om ons verblyf so lekker as moontlik te maak Weereens dankie vir die vakansie van ‘n leeftyd. Ek het die krater gesien, die migtrasie (‘n lewenslange droom) en leeus in bome in Manyara. En my vrou het haar gate uitgeniet op Zanzibar se strande. Ons sal definitief weer van jul diesnte gebruik maak.

Kenya & Tanzania: Best of East Africa Safari

I take this opportunity to thank you for a wonderful Safari to the Masai Mara and Serengeti in July 2011. This was an extremely well organised trip. We were met at the airport by our guide Steve Kinuthia who was just amazing and taken to our hotel the Nairobi Serena. The friendly reception and welcome was the beginning of a pattern throughout our 12 day safari.The game viewing was excellent and we saw prides of Lions. In one instance over 20 in one pride. The best experience was the Balloon Safari. Unfortunately all good things come to and end and back to Nairobi airport.Rika, I highly recommend your company to anyone who wishes to visit the Masai Mara and Serengeti. As vegetarians, we were extremely well catered for with a wide variety of vegetarian meals at all the hotels / lodges. The hotels and lodges were great. The vehicles were excellent as were their two guides. Thanks once again for a great Safari experience.

WOW!! Words cannot describe our amazing trip to Tanzania. Thank you so much - everything was top class, and the sight of over a million animals is something we will never forget.

Hi there - thank you for all your work put into making my Kilimanjaro trip a fantastic experience. I would really like to thank explore plus for getting my flights, hotel and guide ready for me - as well as providing me with all the information I needed to make the summit of Kilimanjaro. The Lemoshu route is stunning and I would recommend it to all who ask - as a farmer I am quite fit - I walk all day - to do this route requires a lot of commitment as far as the time goes. William is the most informative guide I have ever met - we had discusions on everthing - plants to volcano's to tecktonic plate movemen He's English was exellent and his level of local knowledge was awesome ! The food and service was out of this world - I did not expect that kind of service - def not on a mountain in the middle of nowhere ! This has been a fantastic experience. Every aspect was very well thought through and organised. A huge thank you to the staff of Springlands hotel, our guides, porters, and cooks. I could'nt have done this without these wonderful people, you are truly inspirational, and looked very well after us! Ongelooflik baie Wildebeeste. Ook heelwat leeus, olifante, zebras, gazelle, krokodille, voëls.
Enigste teleurstelling is dat ons nie ‘n rivierkruising gesien het nie. Mens kan seker net soveel verwag van die natuur … Baie dankie vir jou reelings – alles het seepglad verloop. Ook African Safari se reelings was baie goed. Goeie diens, plooibaar rondom ons behoeftes.

Dit was regtig wonderlik, ons het geen probleme met reisdokumente / vertraagde vlugte etc. gehad nie, en het regtig ‘n great tyd gehad. Die verblyf opsies (Pinewood en Satao Camp) is regtig amazing - die kos, die diens, al die oulike dinge wat hul doen vir paartjies op wittebrood. Ek sal dit vir al my vriende aanbeveel, aangesien mens beide die mooi strande met al die aktiwiteite soos snorkel / bootritte etc. kan doen, maar dan kan mens ook in die bosveld gaan bly, afgelee, omring deur wildlewe. BAIE BAIE dankie vir jou moeite, en vir al die kere wat jy moes verander aan ons bespreking.
Dit was beslis die beste vakansie nog!

Gorilla & Chimp Group 2011 Group Tour

Die ondervinding was amazing en dit geld vir die gorillas sowel as die mense en die land. Dit was ‘nredelikbedrywige week met vroegopstaan en baiery, maar dit was goedomaan die gang tebly. Die rondry het die lewe van die plaaslikegemeenskappegewys en dit het ekbaiegeniet – ons het ookkortkortgestopomfotosteneem. Die blyplekke was uitstaande, oral! Die toer was amazing en alles het werklikbaiegoedafgeloop – eksalditdefinitiefaanbeveel.

What a wonderfully special and memorable trip. I've fallen in love with Rwanda and it's people are just so amazing!The Gorillas... well what can I say! What a beautifull and very special experience. My dreams came true on that mountain and I was truly blessed to be able to fullfill them.Thank you for all you did and hopefully I will be able to return again soon.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

We spent a total of 3 nights in Victoria Falls and stayed at the luxurious Victoria Falls Safari Lodge.  Every one of the lodge’s rooms have a view of the waterhole, so we could “welcome” all the animal visitors which included elephants, buffalo, warthogs, kudus, impalas and lots of different birds from the comfort of our room’s private balcony.  Our dining experience included meals at the lodge’s own Makuwa-Kuwa restaurant located in the central hub of the lodge as well as at The Boma located on the lodge grounds. The food presentation and flavours were wonderful and it was great to sample a variety of Zimbabwean dishes. The dancing and drumming show at The Boma was the perfect end to our African holiday.  Lodge staff displayed meticulous customer service and always found a way to meet our requests.  The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge was our favourite lodging throughout our 4 days of African vacation and a place we feel confident in recommending to anyone travelling to Victoria Falls.
